Aerospace & Defence Night Shift Paint Sprayer

Yeovil (On-site)
Hours:
Night Shift – 38 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 10:00pm – 6:00am. Includes paid breaks (10 + 20 minutes)
Pay:
£17.43 to £26.15 per hour
Overtime:
Over 40.5 hours: +33% hourly rate. Weekend rota (Sat/Sun): +50% hourly rate
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused Night Shift Paint Sprayer to join our growing aerospace and defence manufacturing team.This is a key role where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coatings on precision-engineered components, working to strict industry and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Preparing components (cleaning, sanding, masking, pre-treatment)
- Applying coatings using spray equipment to a high standard
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Carrying out quality checks and inspections
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring safe working practices
- Completing production documentation accurately
- Working closely with inspectors and production teams
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in spray painting (aerospace, automotive, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions
- Good understanding of health & safety in a paint environment
- Ability to work independently on night shifts
Desirable:
- Aerospace or defence industry experience
- Experience working to regulated or high-spec standard
