Overtime:
Early / Late Shift: +22.5% of basic salary. Night Shift: +33% of basic salary. Saturday / Sunday rota: +50% of basic hourly rate.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plater to join our aerospace and defence manufacturing team.This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for processing components through surface treatment lines, ensuring all work meets strict industry and customer specifications.
This position is ideal for someone with plating or anodising experience who takes pride in quality, safety, and precision.
Responsibilities
- Processing components through treatment lines
- Jigging and preparing parts for plating
- Carrying out operator inspections
- Working to technical specifications and work instructions
- Maintaining tanks, including chemical additions and stock checks
- Monitoring processes to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintaining a safe working environment in line with H&S policies
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience in plating or surface treatments
- Ability to work to detailed specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- Aerospace or defence industry experience
- Electroless Nickel Plating (ENP) experience
